First post to this blog! This should hopefully be the beginnings of the story of my journey to Thailand. I'm currently situated in Dundee studying Civil Engineering and really not enjoying it.
It all started about a year ago when I left Uni when I was studying Computing and not really enjoying it. I left thinking it was the course that was rubbish and not really that Uni was the problem. I worked over the summer at a Safari Park to tide my way over the Summer before I started at Uni again. I've gone another 6 months into a uni course and I have came to the conclusion that at this moment in time that University isn't what I want to do at this time in my life. My dad runs a guest house over there and he has said I am more than welcome to go.
I shall hopefully be updating this blog with how everything turns out for me. From leaving uni again to telling my family to actually arriving in Thailand.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog and the highs and lows that I will experience over the coming months. The plan for the next couple of days is to tell my family and break the news to my girlfriend.
